That’s what I heard my Mom say! So, rather than give you another of my descriptive posts, I thought I would show you more pictures of the Summer Fun Story I am creating:
Hi, so did you figure out it’s me, The Bustey?! Well, here I am in my seat belt returning home after a very, very long hike. My Mom is big on my safety. These are my sleepy eyes! Will show you some quick pics then I’m laying across this seat to nap while Momma drives us back home.
Mom says that I have to carry my own water supply, snack bag, and poop bags. I love new adventures and exploring (that’s what Mom tells my Auntie I’m doing!!) So, real quick, I went over the top of one of the embankments to see if I could get into the water, and got a little, let’s just say concerned about my safety. I was literally vertical with my head near the water and my hind legs straight upwards on the side of the embankment. Mom laughed a lot watching me try to back out without falling forward into the lake!! I think she was proud of my skills!!!!
Mom let’s me do so many fun things. It is funny when she starts yelling, “don’t you drink that water Bustey,” just as my tongue touches the water. We love each other a lot!
Can you see any holes in the above pictures. I heard Mom saying, “Bustey, stop that digging,” then “okay have at it, enjoy,” then “don’t you eat that dirt… Busteeeee!!”
Aren’t we cute here?!! This is my friend Ann, we spend a lot of time together, I love her…And that little whitish dog is ‘Lil Bit; he is fierce, he likes to bite people and doesn’t like to play with me, but he lets me drink his water and sleep next to him.
So, I was considered jumping in since it was so hot, but changed my mind.
That was a good long walk, so I’ll take that nap. The last thing I remember was Mom wiping me down and soaking my paws in cool water. She said I was knocked out for several hours this evening. I think I heard someone snoring though, must have been Grandma; Mom says Grandma is a beast with her rollator…I think she means she walks a lot too. When we go out walking, I have a ginormus job; to keep track of my Grandma, and I’m pretty good at it!! I don’t always need my mom to say, “Bustey! Where’s your Grandma?” I often look around to make sure she is in sight. (deep sigh…snore)
More to come…
